The Third Executive Committee Meeting for the 13th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition
On Friday, July 3, 2026, the Third Executive Committee Meeting for the 13th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition was held.
Momo Kodama, who will serve as Chair of the Jury for the 13th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, also attended this Executive Committee Meeting.
In her greeting as Chair of the Jury, she spoke about her aspirations for the role, her expectations for the competition, and more.
The key visual design was also unveiled.
This design is inspired by the image of a door through which contestants take a new step forward from the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition out into the world.

Furthermore, the prospectus was also released on the same day.
One of the main changes from the previous competition is that a violin sonata will be incorporated into the third stage. A performance featuring both piano and violin sounds like it will be well worth seeing.
